Marine Chronometers

Marine chronometers are chronometers that are specifically designed and manufactured to meet the tough requirements for usage on the sea – apart from being a very precise timekeeper, it also has to be able to continue working in environments where high humidity and vibration are the norms.

These chronometers are a must-have tool onboard of every ships and vessels as it allows navigators/sailors (when used along with other nautical tools such as sextants) to determine the position of their ships even when the GPS are not working.
